I've been busy this week creating a new website for the TV show I do (
www.ageless-tv.com) and uploading clips to it. Here's one of me interviewing Art White, the 99-year old I've been blogging about the past two weeks. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is priceless. Today I'm meeting with an equally active 99-year old woman. Stay tuned!
Hi, Prill! If you haven't come across her yet, you might be interested in the 92 year old yoga teacher I blogged about today. She is amazing! Here's a 3 minute video of her, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gip5sjGy8pM
ReplyDeleteI find this woman so inspiring.
Met a lady yesterday that had just turned 80. Besides "keep moving" she said one of the best pieces of advice she ever got for looking and feeling younger was to keep her hairstyle in line with current styles. She looked great and not a day over 70! :)
ReplyDeleteBonnie-- I just watched the video. This woman is amazing. I'd love to interview her. Where does she live? How can I get in touch with her? (Feel free to privately email me at prillboyle@gmail.com.)
ReplyDeleteLeyla, you're so right. I just interviewed a 99-year old woman yesterday and she, too, keeps moving constantly. I was amazed at how agile she is. I worry that so many of us these days are atrophying at our computer screens.
I can never get enough of the wisdom and character's that the elderly are- it was fun to actually hear what excites Art since it cracked me up when I read it. What a fun job you have!!
ReplyDeleteIt cracked me up, too, Barb. Actually, Art cracked himself up, which is the part of the clip I really loved.
