Major in reality. Minor in dreams. In other words, pay attention to your desires, but be smart about your situation. Sometimes it's better, at least at first, to pursue a dream part-time as you gather the resources and allies necessary to achieve your goal.
I've been saying this for years. (I've always been a feet-on-the-ground, head-in-the-clouds kind of gal.) But I have to credit an ex-Navy Seal named Richard "Mack" Machowicz for the catchy phrase. I heard him use it the other night on Donny Deutsch's The BIG Idea and Googled him. I discovered that he runs a "motivational community" (his words, not mine) called Not Dead. Can't Quit. Now that's a pithy saying!
