I saw a sweet, made-for-television movie last night that I rented on Netflix:
The Simple Life of Noah Dearborn. With an inspiring message for late bloomers and a lovely, nuanced performance by Oscar winner
Sidney Poitier, this feel-good fable is worth a watch.
I've never heard of it! Will have to seek out this movie...

I was surprised how much I liked it. Normally I find this kind of movie a little too sentimental. But this was well done.
ReplyDeleteHi Prill - I usually like anything with Sidney. He's a class act!
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well -- working on a sequel to Defying Gravity? I'm currently on a promo tour of The Birth to Five Book: Confident Childrearing Right from the Start.

Thanks for the recommendation. I loved Sunshine Cleaning. Alan Arkin's potrayal of the grandfather was superb. It's never too late to start again1

Good to hear from you, Brenda! I'll have to look into "Sunshine Cleaning," Carolyn. (I love Alan Arkin.) And, yup, Netflix is great, Barb.
ReplyDeleteHope all three of you are enjoying the day!
