My Election Day Dream

No matter who wins tonight, I hope that the next four years will be filled with less rancor than the ones of our recent past. Instead of demonizing those who don't believe as we do, I dream that we will turn to one another and, hand in hand, build a brighter future.

  2. I've been impressed with the post-election statesmanship. There seems to be hope, Dear Prill.

  5. Daron,

Is that you? My former student? If I'm right, then it is you who is the noble soul. (I've always thought that about you.) Hope all is well. If you get a chance, I'd love to hear what you've been up to these past eight years or so. Did you ever complete your education?

  6. Yes it is your former student. You have very good memory. I have since completed My Graduate Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I wanted to go to Law school, however, I have put it on hold.

It is a delight to see that you have been busy with speaking engagements and furthering your writing. Reading your blog reminds me of the encouragement and positive, constructive feedback that you provided while I was a student in your class. I often reflect upon your kind words, your passionate approach to your own writing and also your analysis of the work of other writers. Again, Thank you!

  7. Thank you, Daron, for your kind words. I've often wondered what happened to you and am gratified to hear that you not only earned your B.A. but a graduate degree as well. Congratulations! (I hope you pat yourself on the back from time to time for all your achievements. I know it hasn't always been an easy road.)

I wish you all the best!
